Tourist Guides Association Dubrovnik
It was on September15, 1978 that the Association was officially founded and started working independently (then it had 72 members), and it performs its activity successfully ever since.
The office of our Association is situated in the Old City of Dubrovnik, at Gundulić square.
At the moment, the Association has 350 members, mostly active.
Some are:
Working exclusively as tourist guides
Employed as teachers or similar, and guiding is an additional activity for them
Retired, and guiding is an additional income for them
Students, and guiding is an additional activity for them.
While the associations in other Croatian cities work as guide services dispatching groups to their members, our practice is different. Each of our members is an independent guide on the market and clients contact and hire them directly.
